As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot performing aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your mission is the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career that combines exceptional federal benefits with the stability of a federal position.
Day-to-day, you will conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband moving via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. The role demands rapid decision-making in diverse flight environments, including night operations, poor weather, and low altitudes.

Successful candidates will undergo a three-part assessment. A duty location will be offered after this assessment, based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
