Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a unique opportunity to combine your aviation expertise with a career in federal law enforcement. You will work alongside a dedicated team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

The selection process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a rigorous three-part assessment. Upon successful completion of this assessment, you will receive a final offer letter detailing your duty location. Please note that duty locations are assigned based on operational requirements, mission needs, and critical agency hiring needs. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
