About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a skilled team where your expertise directly supports national security. You will perform critical duties including air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land, air, and sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizenship; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age under 40 (or under 37 without waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 1, 2, or Military medical flight clearance (within 12 months); and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
