About the Role

As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

This position offers a streamlined application process for seasoned pilots and those with military training. You will be part of a dynamic environment where your skills directly impact the safety and security of the nation's borders.

Hiring Process

The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment to determine your suitability for the role. Once you successfully complete this assessment, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
