Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), brings together an elite team of highly trained professionals. Camaraderie, pride, and purpose are the hallmarks of our daily mission to protect America. We offer skilled pilots an opportunity to transition into law enforcement, working within a culture defined by a shared commitment to national security.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. Your mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This is a dynamic, security-based career where you will conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods moving via land, air, or sea.
Day-to-day, you will monitor suspect behavior patterns, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. Whether operating in the Southeast, Southwest, or at National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC), you will be part of a streamlined, high-impact team dedicated to border integrity.
We offer a streamlined application process for qualified candidates. There are three primary ways to apply:
