About the Role

As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots who want to apply their skills in a high-stakes, rewarding environment. You will conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

Hiring Process

The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents is designed to identify top-tier talent through a structured evaluation:

2. Assessment: Successful applicants will complete a three-part assessment.
3. Training: Upon selection, you must successfully complete the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC). Failure to complete this training may result in separation or reassignment.
4. Placement: A duty location will be offered after the assessment. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, including the Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
