As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your daily responsibilities will also include monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents is rigorous and structured to ensure the highest standards of operational readiness. Candidates must be willing to work at any duty location within their selected region, as assignments are determined by operational and mission requirements.
The selection process typically involves a three-part assessment. Upon successful completion of this assessment, a duty location will be offered in the final offer letter. Candidates may be required to attend the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) as a condition of employment; failure to complete the required training may result in separation or reassignment.
