About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a frontline defender, performing aviation-based law enforcement operations to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This is a dynamic, security-based role where you will conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day work involves monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizenship; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or younger (or eligible for age waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 2 medical (or Class 1/Military) dated within 12 months; and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
