Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role is designed for skilled pilots interested in a dynamic mission where your expertise directly impacts national security. You will partner with a team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land, air, and sea. Your day-to-day involves monitoring suspect behaviors, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these full-time, security-based positions. Whether you are flying fixed-wing aircraft or unmanned systems, you will operate in diverse environments, from night flights to poor weather conditions, making judicious decisions to secure the border.

Successful candidates will undergo a three-part assessment. Upon completion, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region, including the Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
