The group is defined by its camaraderie, pride, and a shared sense of purpose in its daily mission to secure the nation's borders.
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. Your primary mission is to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. This role offers the opportunity to work with a skilled team of pilots and professionals in a dynamic environment where your expertise directly impacts national security.
Day-to-day operations involve conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled goods via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. This is a full-time, security-based position designed for those seeking job stability and the chance to serve on the front lines of law enforcement.
AMO utilizes a streamlined application process for qualified candidates. There are three primary ways to apply:

Assessment & Location: Successful candidates will complete a three-part assessment. Duty locations are assigned based on operational and mission requirements after the assessment. You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region (Southeast, Southwest, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch, or NASOC UAS locations).
