About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role is designed for skilled pilots seeking to apply their expertise in a high-stakes environment where every flight contributes to national security. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities against smuggled goods via land, air, or sea. Your day-to-day involves monitoring suspect behaviors, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting critical search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Maximum age 40 (or 37 without waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible); and 250 Pilot-in-Command hours.
