About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot performing aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. This position offers a unique blend of high-stakes law enforcement and advanced aviation operations.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizenship; Primary U.S. residency for at least 3 of the last 5 years; Maximum age 40 (or 37 without waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 2 medical (or Class 1/Military) dated within last 12 months; and 1,500 total flight hours (waiver to 1,000 possible).
