As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a full-time, security-based role designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a diverse team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO actively recruits seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these critical positions. The role offers the chance to work across various regions, including the Southeast, Southwest, and Caribbean Air and Marine Branch, as well as National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) for Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Duty locations are assigned based on operational and mission requirements, and successful candidates must be willing to work at any location within their selected region.
