As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to support the detection, prevention, and apprehension of threats. This is a full-time, security-based role designed for those seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability.
Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. The role demands rapid decision-making in all flight environments, including night operations, poor weather, and low altitudes.
Duty locations are determined by operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region (Homestead, FL; Aguadilla, PR), the Southwest Region (AZ, CA, TX), or NASOC Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
