As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations to secure the nation's borders. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will partner with a team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting for full-time security-based opportunities with a streamlined application process. Seasoned pilots and those with military training are in high demand. This position offers the chance to work in diverse environments, from the Southeast and Southwest border regions to the Caribbean and National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC).
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment. Once you successfully complete this assessment, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or NASOC Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
