As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a skilled pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This role is designed for those seeking an exciting, rewarding career with exceptional stability. You will partner with ground assets to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. This is a security-based position where your aviation expertise directly supports the agency's mission to safeguard the country.

Assessment and Placement: Successful candidates will complete a three-part assessment. Duty locations are assigned based on operational and mission requirements after this assessment. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, including the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
