Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. About the Role

As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a skilled team of pilots and professionals who are on the front lines of national security. You will perform critical duties including air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to intercept smuggled contraband via land, air, or sea. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

Hiring Process

Assessment: Successfully complete a three-part assessment.
Offer & Location Assignment: A duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any location within the selected region (Southeast, Southwest, CAMB, or NASOC UAS locations).
Training: Upon selection, you must successfully complete the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC). Failure to complete this training may result in separation or reassignment.
