Air and Marine Operations (AMO), a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is an elite team of highly trained professionals dedicated to protecting America. Our mission is defined by camaraderie, pride, and a shared purpose to detect, prevent, and interdict terrorists, weapons, and contraband from entering the United States illegally.
About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in law enforcement where your aviation expertise directly supports national security. You will perform aviation-based operations to patrol, surveil, and pursue smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day work involves monitoring suspect behavior patterns, analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a team whose daily mission is critical to the safety of the nation. We are actively recruiting seasoned pilots and those with military training to fill these full-time, security-based positions.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or under (or eligible for age waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 2 medical within 12 months; and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
