As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations dedicated to the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. The role involves conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. You will monitor behavior patterns of suspect persons and assets, collect and analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. The position is ideal for seasoned pilots and those with military training who are ready to apply their skills to a critical national mission.
Duty locations are determined by operational and mission requirements. Agents must be willing to work at any location within their selected region, including the Southeast (Homestead, FL; Aguadilla, PR), Southwest (AZ, CA, TX), or National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC) UAS locations.
