About the District
Linden-Kildare CISD is a 2A school district located in Northeast Texas, Cass County. We are proud to host an active three-teacher Agriculture Science program dedicated to fostering student growth and community engagement.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Agriculture Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our team. This is a 12-month contract position (226 days) designed for an educator who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You will serve as a vital link between the classroom and the local FFA chapter, guiding students through leadership development, career readiness, and competitive activities at the local, district, area, and state levels.
Your day-to-day will involve teaching a diverse curriculum including Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, and Wildlife/Forestry. Beyond the classroom, you will travel with students to livestock shows, camps, conventions, and conferences. You will also oversee Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs, assisting students in managing livestock projects and maintaining online record books using AET. Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, with a willingness to engage before school, after school, and on weekends to support the full scope of our agricultural program.
