Dell Medical School, in conjunction with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT), is seeking Physician Assistants with cardiac critical care credentials to join the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. Our mission is to serve the growing need of the regional pediatric population by delivering world-class pediatric cardiac critical care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will partner with physicians and other care providers to manage complex congenital and acquired heart disease in children. You will obtain patient histories, perform assessments, and order diagnostic studies to guide treatment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients and families on health conditions and treatment options, documenting care in accordance with network policies, and engaging in discharge planning. You will also play a key role in the orientation and education of staff and students, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained in a fast-paced environment.
