About the Team
Dell Medical School, in conjunction with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT), is dedicated to serving the growing regional pediatric population. The Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease brings together a multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class pediatric cardiac critical care.
About the Role
We are seeking Physician Assistants with cardiac critical care credentials to join this collaborative team. In this role, you will address the complex needs of children with congenital and acquired heart disease within a Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Critical Care Unit. Your day will involve obtaining patient histories, performing assessments, and ordering diagnostic studies. You will provide direct treatment and management of cardiac critical care conditions, engage in discharge planning, and counsel patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and community resources. Additionally, you will participate in the orientation and education of staff and students, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
