The Adolescent Medicine division is a unique, free-standing practice serving adolescents and young adults (ages 10–25) across the state. As the only facility of its kind in South Carolina, we provide comprehensive care to over 2,000 patients for a vast array of concerns, ranging from eating disorders and LGBTQIA+ care to mental health management and reproductive health.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adolescent Medicine Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Greenville, SC. This role is designed to provide high-quality, equitable care to medically and socially complex young adults while fostering a learning community. You will work alongside students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating integrity and empathy in every interaction.
In this position, you will manage a diverse clinical caseload including eating disorders, transgender medical care, psychopharmacologic management, and sexual health services. Beyond clinical duties, you will have the opportunity to engage in medical education for residents and fellows and pursue career advancement within the system through research or administrative appointments. The role includes an academic appointment at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine - Greenville and offers a supportive environment with no weekend in-house call obligations.
