About the Role
Encompass Health seeks an Acute Rehab Registered Nurse to deliver specialized, patient-centered care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will assess complex patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and monitor progress toward functional recovery.
Working within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team, you will educate patients and families, coordinate safe discharges, and support a nurturing, dynamic environment focused on high-quality outcomes and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide comprehensive nursing assessments for acute rehab patients

- check_circleAdminister medications, treatments, and IV therapy safely
- check_circleMonitor, document, and report patient status and response to therapy
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary rehab team members
- check_circleEducate patients and families on care, recovery, and discharge plans
- check_circleMaintain accurate EMR documentation and follow clinical protocols
- check_circleParticipate in quality and safety initiatives within the unit
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in practicing state
- verifiedBLS certification
Nice to Have
ACLS certification, CRRN certification, experience in inpatient rehab or acute care.
