About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Activities Director/Supervisor to lead the creation and execution of a therapeutic activities program tailored for our geriatric residents. This role is vital for building functional abilities and enhancing the quality of life for our community. You will design programs that reflect the unique interests and needs of each resident, fostering engagement through individual, group, and bedside activities. Your day will involve adapting activities to match varying cognitive and physical levels, managing a monthly calendar, and organizing special seasonal events. Beyond direct care, you will play a key leadership role by interviewing residents and their families to develop individualized plans, participating in department budgeting, and hiring and retaining qualified staff and volunteers.
