As an Accountant I, you will serve as a vital support to the Finance team under the direction of the Deputy Director of Finance. Your work will directly contribute to the agency's mission by managing the business and financial operations that keep our housing programs running. This role is designed for someone who wants to perform meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of our community members.
You will collaborate with other Finance and accounting staff to prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and ensure accurate reporting for our various properties and programs. From reconciling general ledgers and managing debt service to preparing reports for HUD, investors, and the Board of Commissioners, your attention to detail and financial expertise will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our public agency's financial health.

Affordable housing accounting experience. Experience with Yardi or other property management software. Working knowledge of and ability to apply GAAP, GASB, FASB, and IRS regulations. CPA license.
