One of Tennessee's leading medical centers is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurologist to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team comprising Neurologists, Neurohospitalists, and Neurosurgeons. This role offers the chance to practice within a Level I Trauma Center housed in a 328-bed hospital, providing access to state-of-the-art equipment and advanced neurodiagnostic tools.
This position is designed for a physician who values a balanced lifestyle without compromising on clinical excellence. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, featuring morning inpatient rounding followed by 2-3 half-day clinics in the afternoon. A dedicated resident clinic is held on Thursday afternoons.
The patient volume is intentionally manageable, with a daily census of 8-14 patients. Typically, the physician will see 2-4 new patients and 2-3 follow-up visits in the hospital each day. The call schedule is light, generally consisting of a brief 30-minute phone consultation with the resident before 9 PM if needed. While EMG proficiency is required, EEG experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Located in a vibrant region known for world-class food, live music, and unique cultural experiences, this community offers an ideal setting for both singles and families. The area boasts top-ranked public and private schools and a cost of living approximately 15% below the national average. Residents enjoy the convenience of an international airport and the financial benefit of no state income tax.
The practice is currently accepting applications from 2027 graduates and offers support for J-1 and H-1B visas. For more information regarding this opportunity, please contact Kalu Onumah at 678.501.2422 or via email at kalu.onumah@jacksonphysiciansearch.com.
