About the Organization

We are a large academic healthcare organization in eastern North Carolina, currently expanding our neuroscience program to meet the growing needs of our community. Our facility is a large tertiary care and Level I Trauma Center, offering a robust environment for clinical excellence and academic growth.

Our established neuroscience program brings together 10 neurosurgeons and over 20 neurologists, supported by interventional neurology, vascular neurology, and neurocritical care services. The department also features an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program, providing a dynamic setting for collaboration and mentorship.

About the Role

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or clinical expertise in Headache Medicine to join our expanding team. This position is primarily an outpatient clinical practice with occasional inpatient responsibilities tied to residency attending coverage. The role offers an academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, allowing you to shape the future of neurology while delivering high-quality patient care.

You will join an established neurology practice of 13 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers. The team benefits from extensive clinical resources, including an on-site infusion suite, laboratory, EEG, EMG and nerve conduction study resources, and access to an ALS clinic. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call responsibilities.
