IDEA College Prep Teachers are dedicated to ensuring every student masters the academic and social skills necessary to succeed in college. This role embodies IDEA's core values daily, setting ambitious goals for student achievement and utilizing data to craft dynamic, effective lesson plans. The mission is accomplished by exposing students to rigorous high school material and providing opportunities to earn college credit through dual-enrollment, AP, or IB courses.
Since 2000, IDEA Public Schools has grown from a small school with 150 students to a multi-state network of tuition-free, Pre-K-12 public charter schools. Serving over 80,000 college-bound students across 143 schools in Texas, Florida, and Ohio, IDEA is recognized by The Washington Post and U.S. News & World Report as a top high school network. The organization maintains a legacy of sending 100% of its graduates to college.
At IDEA, you become part of a "Team and Family" committed to the belief that every child can go to college. We seek individuals who are agents of change, demonstrating a propensity for action and a willingness to learn quickly through trial and error. Our environment is entrepreneurial and high-growth, requiring team members to thrive amidst ambiguity and change.
We value urgency, purpose, and accountability. Team members are expected to seek and respond to feedback freely, work across silos to forge strong cross-departmental relationships, and hold themselves to a high standard of conduct as models for colleagues and students.
Interested candidates should submit their application online through Jobvite as soon as possible. The process includes the following requirements:
