This position is dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential across intellectual, emotional, physical, and social dimensions. As a core academic instructor, you will design and deliver learning experiences that foster the competencies and skills necessary for students to thrive in society. The role extends beyond the classroom, requiring you to serve as a positive role model who actively supports the school district's mission.
Your day will be defined by dynamic instruction and meaningful student engagement. You will develop and implement lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum while accommodating diverse learning styles. This involves utilizing technology to enhance the learning process and collaborating with special education colleagues to modify curricula for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Beyond academics, you will play a vital role in student growth by helping learners refine their study habits and conducting ongoing assessments to track achievement. You will also supervise teacher aides and volunteers, manage classroom behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct, and assume responsibility for assigned extracurricular activities. Building strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and the community through open communication is a central part of your professional practice.
