About the Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate 4-9th Grade Science Teacher in Lorain/Elyria, Ohio, dedicated to bringing the curriculum to life for each student. In this role, you will be excited to create a positive classroom environment that prioritizes student learning and social-emotional development. You will utilize research-based best practices and school-approved curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of our students. The role involves differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students and managing student behavior to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
You will work within a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring. Success in this position requires the ability to communicate effectively with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth, as well as collaborate with colleagues to implement school-wide culture expectations.
