The Production Operator is the backbone of our resin distribution operations, ensuring that packaging, bulk transfer, blending, and screening processes run smoothly and safely. This role exists to maintain the integrity of our product from the silo to the final shipment, handling everything from rail pumps and blenders to the final packaging line.
In this position, you will manage the flow of materials through conveyors and hoppers, operating specialized equipment like the NEUERO system to load and unload bulk trucks and railcars. Your day involves a mix of precision and physical activity: inspecting filled containers for specification compliance, generating accurate labels, and maintaining detailed records for material movements and inventory. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of the workspace, performing routine maintenance on filters, screeners, and J-Tubes, and ensuring all ISO documentation and safety protocols are strictly followed.
Safety is paramount in our production environment. Operators are expected to maintain a clean work area and adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies. The role requires vigilance in identifying potential hazards, including dust, fumes, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts, while utilizing respiratory protection and other safety gear as needed. You will play a key role in the facility's quality assurance by generating Corrective Action and Preventative Action (CAR) reports for any damaged or lost product, ensuring all ISO requirements are met and documentation remains current.
To apply for this position, please submit your resume highlighting your relevant experience with machinery operation and material handling. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience are encouraged to apply. Please note that a minimum of three years of forklift experience is required to perform the essential functions of this role successfully.
