1st Shift Warehouse Worker - Freight Unloader

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team as a Freight Unloader. This position is vital to our operations, ensuring that all incoming freight is unloaded, sorted, and organized safely and efficiently to keep our distribution flow moving. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and safety are paramount.

Daily Operations

Your day will involve unloading freight from delivery trucks and containers, followed by sorting and organizing items for storage or distribution. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area while strictly adhering to all safety protocols to prevent damage to goods. Collaboration with team members is essential to meet daily unloading goals and ensure smooth operations.

Schedule & Compensation

This role operates Monday through Friday, starting at 5:30 AM and finishing around 3:00 PM. Compensation begins with an hourly rate during the training period, transitioning to a piecework pay structure based on the volume of freight unloaded. The salary range for this position is $16.50 to $19.50 per hour.
