About the Role
As a 1st Grade Teacher, you will serve as a primary architect of early learning experiences, guiding students through foundational academic and social milestones. This role exists to create a classroom environment that is not only conducive to learning but also nurturing to the physical, social, and emotional development of young children.
In this position, you will design and implement lesson plans that align with district curriculum standards while accommodating diverse learning styles. Your day will involve delivering instruction that meets Texas Education Agency guidelines, utilizing technology to enhance the learning process, and collaborating closely with special education staff to modify curricula for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Beyond the classroom, you will act as a positive role model, fostering strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and the community while actively participating in Professional Learning Communities to drive continuous improvement.
