About the Role

Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a 1st Shift Maintenance Assistant Manager. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated leader who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Maintenance Techs, fostering a dynamic and diverse environment to achieve shared goals.

  • check_circleLead and develop a team of Maintenance Techs and Group Leaders
  • check_circleReport team activity and progress using visual management tools
  • check_circleReview downtime data to create and execute improvement projects
  • check_circleInitiate and report on team work to achieve improvement goals
  • check_circlePromote Kaizen activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • check_circleCreate and execute procurement commodity strategies for assigned categories
  • check_circleTrack expenses and oversee maintenance budgets
  • check_circleManage maintenance practices across first, second, and third shifts
  • check_circleCoordinate daily activities to ensure parts and supplies availability
  • check_circleRetest equipment with associates to verify quality and performance
  • check_circleSchedule training programs according to annual budget approvals
  • check_circleCoordinate transfer of time-sensitive repairs between shifts

Requirements
