About the Role
As an X-Ray Tech on our Healthcare & Medical Services team, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality radiographic images. This role exists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment by collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff. You will uphold strict safety and infection-control standards while providing compassionate patient care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical or trauma settings.
Your Day-to-Day
You will operate digital and portable X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, applying radiation safety and ALARA principles to protect patients and staff. Your day involves verifying patient identity, reviewing exam orders, and explaining procedures to ensure safety and comfort. You will evaluate image quality, document procedures accurately in PACS/RIS and electronic medical records, and maintain composure in urgent situations while coordinating imaging needs with the broader care team.
