About the Role

Join the National Wound Physician Group as a Wound Care Physician, where you can become an expert in wound management while enjoying clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility. This role is designed for physicians who want to focus on patients and clinical excellence rather than administrative burdens or traditional hospital schedules.

You will deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically within Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. The position offers a unique mobile practice model, allowing you to visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of your practice location. Typically, you will visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.

We provide comprehensive physician-level wound management training, including a paid wound fellowship, ensuring you possess the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. You will utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities to treat patients across over 3,200 facilities in 28 states.

Work-Life Balance and Culture

This position prioritizes a healthy work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, allowing for a predictable routine. Clinical documentation is streamlined through our proprietary wound-specific EMR, enabling real-time documentation at the point of care during rounds, so you can spend your time focused on patient care rather than paperwork.
