Job Description
About Healing Partners
As industry-leading wound care providers, Healing Partners propel standard Skilled Nursing Facility wound care to a completely different level. Our multifaceted approach relieves various burdens—clinical, operational, financial, and practical—from busy owners, administrators, and employees, freeing each staff member to focus optimally on his or her responsibilities and improve overall facility management.
About the Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team, providing high-quality wound care services across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities. This role is designed for professionals who excel in both clinical care and patient education, allowing you to make a significant impact on resident health outcomes while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.
In this position, you will plan, direct, and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care settings. You will travel daily to various facilities, examining and treating chronic and acute episodic wound-related illnesses, accidents, and minor injuries. Your responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic tests, recommending appropriate follow-up care, and collaborating with medical directors to ensure comprehensive care for residents and staff.
A key aspect of this role involves performing bedside procedures, including the safe debridement of wounds by sharp, enzymatic, autolytic, or surgical methods. You will also manage topical wound care products and educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on current wound management practices to improve healing outcomes.
Why Join Us
Healing Partners offers a supportive environment that prioritizes the well-being of our staff. We provide a Monday-Friday day schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties, ensuring excellent work/life balance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance eligible on the date of hire, along with an Employee Assistance Program, Health Savings Account, and Dependent Care FSA. We also offer 401k, short-term/long-term disability, and life insurance, as well as tuition reimbursement and a wound care certification program. Malpractice insurance is 100% company-paid, and we provide personalized FIGS lab coats.
