Under the direction of the Wellness Director, the Wellness Floor Staff oversees the entire upper level of the YMCA facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, enforcing rules and regulations, and creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members. Wellness Floor Staff must be sociable, energetic, and confident in their ability to engage with members while ensuring policies are upheld. Staff are expected to lead by example and consistently demonstrate the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
In this position, you will assist the Healthy Living Director in planning and implementing health and wellness programs and initiatives. You will be responsible for the Post Rehab Training Program and the implementation of all Evidence Based Health programs. A key part of your day involves developing and implementing the organization's HIPAA compliance policies and procedures, as well as sharing the "YMCA Story" with all involved in programs. You will maintain safe program areas, including indoor and outdoor spaces, and manage accurate inventory of all equipment related to programs while following accident reporting and risk management procedures.
