About the Role
FedEx is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers and Package Handlers to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is essential to our mission of ensuring packages are processed accurately and on time. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical part in the logistics chain, responsible for unloading packages from trailers and delivery vehicles, sorting packages by destination using conveyor belt systems, scanning packages into the tracking system, and loading packages into delivery trucks. Your work ensures that packages are handled safely and efficiently according to company procedures.
Day in the Life
In this position, you will work quickly and safely while meeting hourly sorting and loading quotas. Depending on operational needs, you may be assigned to loading, unloading, sorting, or scanning roles. You will be expected to follow FedEx safety policies, package handling procedures, and productivity standards to ensure packages are processed accurately and on time.
