About the Role
FedEx is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers and Package Handlers to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is essential to our operations, ensuring that packages are processed accurately and on time. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in the logistics chain, responsible for unloading packages from trailers and delivery vehicles, sorting packages by destination using conveyor belt systems, scanning packages into the tracking system, and loading packages into delivery trucks. Your work ensures that packages are handled safely and efficiently according to company procedures.
Work Environment and Expectations
In this role, you will work quickly and safely while meeting hourly sorting and loading quotas. You will be expected to follow FedEx safety policies, package handling procedures, and productivity standards. Depending on operational needs, you may be assigned to loading, unloading, sorting, or scanning roles. This position typically pays $17 to $22 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, shift differential pay for overnight or early morning shifts, attendance bonuses, and peak season incentives.
