Day in the Life

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to warehouse operations. Your day may involve building pallets, picking orders using pick sheets or handheld scanners to pick orders, and shrink-wrapping pallets for secure transport. You will load delivery trucks and unload incoming shipments, ensuring that inventory is organized and ready for distribution. Moving product throughout the warehouse is a key part of the job, often utilizing pallet jacks or forklifts to transport goods-to-person systems to keep operations flowing smoothly.

Attention to detail is critical as you ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines at all times. This role requires frequent lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift, and moving, making it an ideal fit for those who enjoy active, hands-on work.

Compensation and Incentives

This position typically pays between $18 and $26 per hour, depending on location and shift. In addition to base pay, there are opportunities for overtime pay, overnight shift differential pay, weekend pay, and attendance or performance bonuses.
