Frito-Lay is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers and Material Handlers play a vital role in the logistics chain, ensuring snack products are efficiently processed for delivery routes. This position is physically active and operates within a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring employees to maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity while adhering to strict safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
Day in the Life
As a Warehouse Worker, your day involves a variety of hands-on tasks essential to distribution center operations. You will be responsible for loading delivery trucks with product and incoming shipments, moving product throughout the facility inventory, and organizing stock for optimal flow. Key duties include picking and packing orders, building and preparing them for delivery drivers.
The role requires frequent physical activity, including lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift. and navigating the warehouse floor. You will utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move product, as well as scanning systems to track inventory. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is critical, as is the accurate stacking and shrink-wrapping of pallets to ensure product integrity during transit.
