Job Description
About the Role
Frito-Lay is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers and Material Handlers to join our distribution center teams. In this physically active role, you will play a critical part in the supply chain by loading, unloading, moving, and organizing snack products for delivery routes. Your work ensures that orders are prepared accurately and on time, supporting the fast-paced environment of our warehouse operations.
Day in the Life
As a Warehouse Worker, your day involves a variety of hands-on tasks. You will be responsible for loading delivery trucks with product and unloading incoming shipments. Throughout the shift, you will move product throughout the warehouse, picking and packing orders, building pallets, and shrink-wrapping them for safe transport. You will also use pallet jacks or forklifts to move product efficiently.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential. You will scan products into inventory systems, stack and wrap pallets, and prepare orders for delivery drivers. This role requires frequent lifting, bending, and moving, so you must be prepared to stay active while working in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Safety and Standards
Safety is a top priority at Frito-Lay. Employees are expected to follow company safety procedures, warehouse guidelines, and productivity standards. By adhering to these protocols, you help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of every order while maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Growth and Benefits
This position offers competitive pay ranging from $18 to $26 per hour, with additional compensation for overnight, weekend, and overtime shifts. Some locations may also offer attendance bonuses, performance bonuses, and peak season incentives. Full-time employees may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, pension benefits in some locations, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and employee discount programs. Additionally, some locations offer shift differential pay for overnight shifts.
We are committed to providing opportunities for advancement. Many Warehouse Workers have the chance to grow their careers within Frito-Lay, with potential pathways into driver or supervisor roles.
