About the Role
You will be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station, serving as the final stop before packages are delivered to customers. In this fast-paced, active environment, you will receive trucks full of orders and prepare them for the last leg of their journey. Your day will involve loading conveyor belts, transporting items, and staging deliveries for drivers to pick up.
The Work Environment
Working at an Amazon Delivery Station means operating around moving machinery, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts. The environment is dynamic: you may stand in one place for long periods, walk around, or climb stairs. Temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F inside the warehouse, and may exceed 90°F in truck yards or trailers on hot days. The area can be noisy at times, and hearing protection is provided if needed.
