Family Dollar is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our distribution center team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the logistics chain by assisting with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Your work ensures that store orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time, supporting our mission to provide essential goods to our communities.

Day in the Life

As a Warehouse Worker, you will operate in a fast-paced distribution center environment where safety and productivity are paramount. Depending on warehouse needs, you may work across various departments including receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory. Your daily tasks will involve unloading trucks, sorting merchandise, scanning inventory into warehouse systems, and picking items for store orders. You will also be responsible for packing and labeling shipments, stacking and wrapping pallets, and organizing warehouse inventory to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
