About the Role
Amazon is seeking Warehouse Shopper Team Members / Order Fulfillment Associates to join our team to work within Amazon fulfillment centers. In this role, you will play a critical part in the customer experience by selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery. Your primary mission is to ensure that customer orders are accurate, safe, and processed on time in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Day in the Life
As an Order Fulfillment Associate, your day involves locating items in the warehouse and picking items using handheld scanners. You will then pack items into boxes or bags, label packages, preparing orders for shipment. Additionally, you may be involved in unloading incoming shipments, stocking shelves, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse to support delivery drivers.
Our Standards
We expect all associates to follow Amazon safety procedures, scanning procedures, and productivity standards. You will be expected to meet hourly pick and pack quotas while maintaining accuracy and safety at all times. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and adherence to established protocols.
