About the Role
Amazon is seeking Warehouse Shopper Team Members / Order Fulfillment Associates to join our team in fulfillment centers. This role is central to our mission of delivering customer orders efficiently and accurately. Associates play a vital part in the logistics chain, ensuring that products reach customers on time and in perfect condition.
Day in the Life
In this fast-paced warehouse environment, you will be responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery. Your daily tasks include locating items in the warehouse and packing items into boxes or bags. You will use handheld scanners to pick items, label packages, and prepare orders for shipment. Accuracy and speed are key, as you will be expected to meet hourly pick and pack quotas while maintaining safety standards.
Beyond picking and packing, associates may also unload incoming shipments, stock shelves, and move inventory throughout the warehouse. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to the seamless operation of our fulfillment network.
