About the Role
Amazon is seeking Warehouse Shopper Team Members / Order Fulfillment Associates to join our team and work within our fulfillment centers. In this role, you will play a critical part in the customer experience by selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery. Your primary mission is to ensure that customer orders are accurate, safe, and processed on time in a fast-paced environment.
Day in the Life
As an Order Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse and packing items into boxes or bags. You will use handheld scanners to pick items, label packages, and prepare orders for shipment. Additionally, you may be involved in unloading incoming shipments, stocking shelves, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse to support delivery drivers.
Safety and Standards
Success in this role requires strict adherence to Amazon's safety procedures, scanning procedures, and productivity standards. You are expected to meet hourly pick and pack quotas while maintaining accuracy and safety at all times.
