About the Role
Amazon is seeking Warehouse Shopper Team Members / Order Fulfillment Associates to join our team to work in Amazon fulfillment centers. This role is central to our mission of delivering customer orders efficiently and accurately.
Day in the Life
As an Order Fulfillment Associate, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your primary focus will be selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery. You will locate items in the warehouse, pick items using handheld scanners, and pack them into boxes or bags. You will also label packages and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all orders are accurate and processed on time.
In addition to picking and packing, you may also unload incoming shipments, stock shelves, and move inventory throughout the warehouse. You will follow Amazon safety procedures, scanning procedures, and productivity standards. You are expected to meet hourly pick and pack quotas while maintaining accuracy and safety at all times.
